Enjoying New York

Talking with my puppy at dinner:

Luca is almost 14 months and thriving here in NYC. He loves to take walks all over the neighborhood, people watching and talking to all the cute dogs we see at the park. He likes to brush his hair with mommy's hairbrushes and pretends to talk on the phone with the cordless (and sometimes with the remote control). He is obsessed with Finding Nemo. He asks to watch it constantly so we have to distract him a lot to avoid his crying when we say no. The sight of a TV or a laptop has him screaming "Nem-nee" (which means anemone). He has been enjoying eating chicken tikka masala, peas, sauteed zucchini, apples, oatmeal cooked with banana and corn on the cob we buy from this amazing farmer every wednesday at the farmer's market across the street. He is getting more attached to his puppy (featured in the picture) and his monkey. He has always loved them both, but now when he wakes from a nap or in the morning, he insists on taking at least one of them out with him and carries it around the house - occasionally dropping down to the floor to lay in a cuddle with it. So cute!
