If you couldn't see the video directly in your email, click on the bottom of the message where it says "Adventures of Little Luca" and a new window with the YouTube video will open...

Cute Video

Luca's favorite book this week is about feelings. Some artist carved expressive faces into vegetables and fruits and made this book. Its actually really clever and amazing how much these vegetables look like people. Finally we have some relief from reading the Rainbow Goblins and Flotsam, which were the big hits last week. For those people who dont know how toddlers operate, when a book is a favorite, it might have to be read a minimum of 10 times in one day. So when Luca wants to switch it up, it makes the day that much more interesting!

At the end of the video he says "Let me try it" - He was hoping I would say that and offer help in getting those shoes on his feet. Often he says what he expects I would say at a certain moment.

Examples:

If I startle him he says "I scared you" even though he is the one frightened.

If he says something he figures I was unaware of he will say "How'd you know that?!!"

Zio Jasone & Aunt Allisunshine visit

Playing catch up with my blog posts...

A couple weeks back, Gioel's brother Jason and his wife Allison visited us here in NYC. Luca became quite attached to them very quickly and after their departure made a point of telling me every 15 minutes that Zio Jason and Aunt Allison went to Georgia ...with Pop-Pop (he remembers that is where Pop-Pop lives and I guess he envisions everyone hanging out together)

Here are a few pictures. I didnt take too many. I think most of them are on Jason's camera!
